Remove Element

Jquery have some predefined methods to remove elements or contents. It have following methods that are used to remove content;
  • remove()
  • empty()

remove() method

This method are used to removes the selected elements and its child elements. In below example remove both paragraph and div section.

Example of remove()

empty() method

This method are used to removes the child elements of the selected elements. In below example only remove paragraph but not remove complete div section.
